Understand the work before choosing a course
A travel request becomes a set of decisions: where the passenger needs to go, suitable dates, available flights and the conditions attached to a fare. An agent needs to explain the options clearly and check details rather than simply select the lowest displayed price.
Reservation support, itinerary preparation and customer-service work are related areas to explore. IATA lists travel agents, airline reservation agents and call-centre agents among the audiences for its foundation travel training. These are examples of roles to research, not vacancies or employment outcomes promised by Intairtech.
Build a foundation in routes, fares and passenger details
Start with geography, airline and airport codes, schedules and local times. Connect those ideas to fare conditions, baggage information and the passenger details needed for a booking. A global distribution system, or GDS, is one tool used in the wider travel-selling process.
- Read an itinerary aloud and identify each departure and arrival date.
- Explain a connection and check which airports are involved.
- Separate fare conditions from passenger requirements in a fictional enquiry.
- Practise asking for clarification without guessing missing information.
Use realistic exercises without making live bookings
Create a fictional customer brief and compare two imaginary itineraries. Write a short explanation of the trade-offs and a question you would need to clarify. Use invented names and details; never copy a real passenger record into a class exercise.
Keep a practice log of mistakes and corrections. A clear explanation of why an option fits a customer is more useful than an unexplained screenshot. Only use a booking or training environment when its owner has explicitly authorised your access and the activity.
Compare the syllabus and the access actually offered
Ask how lessons are delivered, what exercises are included and how feedback works. If a course mentions Amadeus, Galileo or another system, ask which product and environment you will use. Reading about a system, seeing a demonstration and receiving a practice login are different learning arrangements.
Intairtech currently offers live online Air Ticketing & Travel Agency Management training. Students in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and other Pakistani cities can review the same online course information. Physical classes are not currently offered. Platform access and certificate arrangements must be confirmed before admission.
Prepare for applications without relying on job promises
Review current employer requirements directly when you are ready to apply. Use your learning log to describe the concepts you understand, the exercises completed and the areas where you need supervised practice. Be accurate about systems you have used and the access you had.
Training does not guarantee a job, income or authority to issue tickets. Employers set their own requirements. Start with a realistic learning plan, then confirm the course details that matter to your goals.
